PURPOSE This study aimed to explore and analyze research impact of Korean ’Kinesiology’ studies, especially in the aspects international gauged by citation counts from Scopus bibliometric database. contributes relevant literature that it is first endeavour evaluate pattern about how entire articles have been cited articles.METHODS TTwo types sample were collected this paper. Firstly, 19,867 target published 23 KCI-accredited related journals 2001 2015. For articles, secondly, citing took advantage as references Elsevier’s database separately. RESULTS As a result, just 5% at least once for five years after publication. The topics top include ‘exercise’, ‘physical activity,’ ‘Alzheimer’s disease, ‘ ’body composition’ ‘insulin resistance’. Besides, 'Kinesiology’ most influential ‘Medicine,’ ‘Health Professions,’ ‘Multidisciplinary,’ ‘Social Sciences,’ ‘Nursing’. CONCLUSIONS showed one article was 0.09 times on an average Scopus-indexed articles. Considering number citations domestic 5.6 times, still much room growth. However, confirmed scope not limited few countries, but spreading various its has growing recent years.
